For someone like me that LOVES to bake a new pan means allot. It's a way for me to try something I already love doing but adding a twist to it.
Last year I did a review for Love Cooking Company for a Mrs. Fields Slice N Easy Cake Cutter. I still use this all the time, especially at work, my boss is 82, loves homemade goodies that I make her but has a hard time getting a slice when i'm not around, the cake cutter has come in handy and she can use it by herself.

in-between two layers, but not added a filling in the middle. Until last week.
I received Mrs. Fields Fill N Flip from Love Cooking Company. I rushed out to the store, bought 2 cake mixes and some cherry pie filling. I was told and I read in the directions you might need 2 cake mixes because of the oddness of these pans. I only used one. But I at least had the other on hand if need be.
I sprayed my pans, put flower in them, so that nothing sticks and mixed up my batter. Remind you, I NEVER bake cakes from boxed batter. So this was different to me =) but I got it done..... I then added the cake mix to both pans and filled them close to the top, but not all the way.
The shallower pan (cake lid) did overflow some, so next time I will add a little less to that pan. In the oven they went.
I believe I cooked them 25 minutes I checked them a few times with a toothpick.
When they were done, I couldn't resist waiting till they cooled, so I put a plate on each pan and flipped them over.

The first picture is the bottom part of the cake, second picture on green plate is the lid and third picture is the cherry pie filling added to the bottom.
I of course didn't let any of the cake cool, not even before eating it. I was so excited to try it out I put it all together fast.
In the future (this weekend) when I use my Mrs. Fields Fill N Flip pan I am going to add icing to the lip of the bottom and lid. It will help the cake stay together better. It worked fine the way I did it (just adding icing to the top of the cake) but to make it look nicer I will do a little experimenting.

I am going to make a carrot cake this weekend and add a cream cheese filling to the middle
with carrots and raisins in it. It's going to be super yummy!

Wrap up with a box of cake mix or two and some pie filling in a can or jar.
You could wrap it all in a mixing bowl with a wisk and spatula.
