Kid Licks Organic ~ Edible ~ Polish Review & Giveaway

With four young kids, the creators of Kid Licks have seen kids try to eat just about every gross thing known to man. They've made peace with most of it - food off the floor, sand at the beach, hair balls, some grosser stuff they don’t like to relive. But they at least try to make sure that the stuff they put on their kids’ hands is safe.
Since they weren't able to find a food based nail polish anywhere on the market, they decided to make one the way they would want it to be made, with a full list of ingredients and nothing in it that doesn't belong in their kids’ bellies, because that’s where it could very well end up.

Audrey is the brains behind Kid Licks. She’s the one who, while watching her daughter try to eat another company’s supposedly kid-friendly polish that was really just chemicals in a bottle, came up with an idea – an edible kid’s polish. Audrey is also the ambassador and key tester. She’s out there every week showing other parents how to use this stuff and make their kid’s play time just a little bit healthier and a little bit less stressful.

Josh came up with the Kid Licks formula itself. He spent several months mixing up all sorts of goo, consulting with chemists and food safety experts and eventually working with manufacturers and laboratories to put the finishing touches on the product.

I have the Acacia Pink. It's an adorable and subtle color that's perfect for little girls and moms who don't want to be to flashy but want to add a splash of color to their finger tips. Kid Licks also comes in a vibrant Beet Red and Sour Carrot Orange so no matter what mood you are in your can highlight it with the proper color.

All of Kid Licks polishes are vegan, non-GMO and cruelty free.

Kid Licks is made right here in the United States which I absolutely love. All the ingredients are completely edible so you don't need to worry about your little one consuming some. We all know how many times kids fingers end up in their mouths. With Kid Licks you can rest assure there will be no toxic ingredients included. All Kid Licks nail polishes are made from fruits, vegetables and other plants.

One of the many things that I love about Kid Licks is that this polish is easy to remove. You don't need to cover your kids nails with chemicals to get the polish off. All you will need is water and a little elbow grease. I was even able to peal it off when I wanted to take it off.

Kid Licks will dry within 5 minutes but you can speed up that process if you use a hair dryer. It does take a few hours to totally cure so it is suggested to be applied at night before bed. That way it can cure while your lil one sleeps so they are set to show off their color throughout the next day.

Once the bottle ofKid Licks has been open it is best to be stored in the refrigerator since it is made completely from edible products. It will last for up to two months after opening if kept in the fridge. Kid Licks is safe for all ages just make sure if your child is under the age of 5 that you help them or paint their nails for them.

You can purchase these polishes individually or in a set of all three. They are $12.99 each or you can save and buy all three for $32.99. You can get free shipping within the U.S. if you spend over $25!!! YAY!!!
