Alaffia sent me an entire face care line to try out for myself and it's incredible. I am loving everything about it from the scent to it's performance. I tend to have sensitive skin so I am very, very picky about the products I use on my face. I have tried scrubs and cleansers of all types and 95% of them dry my face out or leave it red and irritated after only a few days of using them. I also work behind a torch for hours on end so my face is exposed to high heat all day every day. In particular my chin areas will get red and dry so when it comes to which products I use on my face I have to be super choosy.

The Coconut Reishi Purifying Facial Cleanser that Alaffia sent me has been a miracle. It has a soft smooth texture and makes me feel like I'm at the spa. I'm a huge lover of coconut everything so I was ecstatic when I received this selection. I love that the scent is so relaxing and soft. It has no harsh, pungent or alcohol smell like some other brands. It contains soothing coconut, nourishing reishi, and detoxifying charcoal. It gently cleanses the skin, removes impurities, and is non-stripping which makes it ideal for all skin types.

Also in this product line is the Alaffia Coconut Reishi Rose Toning Mist. This mist is to be applied to your dry clean face. After I wash with the Coconut Reishi Purifying Cleanser I spray a few pumps on my face making sure to mist my entire face. This facial mist with soothing coconut, nourishing reishi, and relaxing rose hydrosol, balances and restores the skin's protective layer. This mist also tightens your pores and tones your skin. It has a very light coconut scent and leaves your face feeling fresh, clean and soft.

After I use the Toning Mist I apply the Alaffia Coconut Reishi Nourishing Day Cream. This cream keeps my face soft throughout the day. This is a much needed product working in intense heat and will also be a blessing this winter while I'm blowing glass out in the cold. My skin is exposed to such extremes that this day cream is a must have. For me.... it prevents drying, peeling, cracking and itching. As I mentioned before having skin that tends to be sensitive makes it tough to find a cream/moisturizer that won't sting or irritate my skin. Some creams leave my face and chin in particular, red, itchy and stingy.

The last but not least of the Alaffia products I am currently using is this Coconut Reishi Hand & Body Lotion. I am in love with the scent of this entire product line which makes covering my entire body with the lotion a pure joy. The scent is delicious without being overwhelming. It is alight and subtle scent that lasts for hours without knocking people down when you enter a room. One thing I hate is when someone is in the car, a plane or theater and they are wearing and overbearing scent that punches you in the face or triggers and asthma attack. LOL Alaffia Coconut Reishi Hand & Body lotion is perfect and so relaxing that I have loved applying it at night before I snuggle into bed. This hand and body lotion contains soothing coconut, nourishing reishi, and moisturizing kpagnan. It hydrates your skin and protects it from the elements.
